About this item
An original pair of British military shorts made in the 1950s and in a large size 36" waist.
These shorts are typical of those made in the 1940s and 1950s for both military and civilian use. They are made from a light tan coloured cotton drill material and feature a twin pleated front, slash pockets to the hips, a button fly and belt loops along with a small ticket pocket at the waist. They also have a single rear pocket.
The shorts are a harder to find larger size which will suit someone of around a 36" waist and when laid flat they measure -
Waist - 18 1/2"
Rise - 14 1/4"
Rear rise - 18 1/4"
Inside leg - 9"
Outside leg - 21 1/2"
Cuff - 16 1/2"
The shorts are in good condition and still very wearable. There are some signs of light wear and some marks but overall the shorts are in good condition. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that these shorts are a vintage pre-worn item which may have small issues commensurate with age.
