About this item
An original pair of British military physical training shorts dating from the Second World War.
This style of shorts was used by the British Army and RAF during the Second World war for physical training and were often referred to as 'PT Shorts'. The shorts are made from a lightweight, blue coloured cotton drill and feature a short button fly which fastens with black plastic buttons.
Inside the shorts the original label is still present and is bright and legible. The title of 'Shorts P.T.' is present as is the size of 4, 36" and the maker's name. The date is partly obscured but it looks to be 1941.
When laid flat the shorts measure -
Waist - 20"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 16"
Inside leg - 7"
Outside leg - 17 1/2"
Cuff - 13 1/2"
The shorts are in good condition with some signs of wear and use. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a pre-owned pair of vintage shorts.
A good pair of original WW2 shorts in a hard to find large size.
