Original WW2 German M36 Drillich White Army Linen Work Trousers - Size 34x29

An original pair of German military linen herringbone work trousers which date from the 1930s to mid 1940s. 

This pattern of trousers was produced alongside a matching jacket and was intended to be used for fatigues and other work, in place of the field uniform. They are made from a natural coloured linen HBT material and are cut in a typical period manner with a high rise waist. The fly fastens with large mteal buttons and more buttons are positioned around the waist, to which braces can be attached. There is a small pocket to the front right hip and the rear features a cinch-back belt and buckle which is typical of pre Second World War workwear. The buckle is marked 'Prima'. 

Inside the trousers the original maker's stamp is still present as illustrated in picture 9. 

The trousers will suit around a 34" waist and when laid flat they measure - 

Waist - 17 1/2"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 20"
Inside leg - 28 1/2"
Outside leg - 40"
Cuff - 8"

The trosuers are in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures. They only show very limited signs of age with some limited staining. There is also one brace button missing. Overall they display very well and are totally wearable but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that they are a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age. 

A very good example of this pattern of trousers which are in great condition.
