About this item
An original pair of British military woolen underpants as issued throughout the Second World War to members of the British Army and RAF.
Typical of those made during the war, these shorts feature a long opening to the front with two buttons to the top, loops for braces to be passed through and cuffs to the bottom of each leg. Inside the shorts is the classic 'WARNORM' label which bears the manufacturer's name of 'N. Corah & Sons ltd' along with the 1945 date, War Department broad arrow marking and the size of 3.
In good, unworn condition; these shorts display very well overall. They do have a hole to the rear as pictured.

When laid flat they measure -
Waist - 19"
Outside leg - 26 1/2"
The shorts are in good condition for their age with no serious signs of wear and use. There is some staining as is shown in the pictures.
A good original wartime dated example of a piece of British uniform.
