About this item
An original set of US WW2 era Enlisted wool trousers, button zip variant with period added gas flap. Very good condition, light soiling in one or two areas, but nothing really noticeable. One small moth nip (c.2mm).
Lots of writing to inside of the pocket flaps, including 'L.B.C.', 'Cleaver' with an unreadable laundry number, '8914, '6985' struck through and further numbers and letters either written or stamped inside the waist band. Thomson Company label present showing a date of April 4 1942, and size 36x33, which is also stamped inside the waist band.
Measured by hand as follows;
Waist - Around a 35" waist, with potential to let out by another inch (has been tailored down from a 36".
Inside leg - 30.5" with potential to let down by around 2.5".
