    About this item

An original 1943 dated British Army 1937 pattern Signals Satchel in very good condition.

This pattern of bag was introduced for use with various signals equipment and was used throughout the Second World War. It is made from the standard khaki coloured webbing and features a strap also made in this material. The bag fastens with a brass ended tab and brass twig buckle and features an internal divider.

The original maker's initials can still be seen to the interior and reads 'G. B. L. E'. Next to this is the date of 1943. The signals stores number ZA6292 is also present.

The overall condition is good with some staining and limited signs of age and use.

A very clean original example which would make a nice addition to your collection!
