Original 1945 Dated M1936 US Army Webbing Suspenders

An original set of 1945 dated United States Army M1936 Suspenders.

This is a genuine set of late Second World War US Army issue suspenders manufactured from olive drab cotton webbing and constructed in the standard Y-configuration. The suspenders are fitted with blackened steel adjustment buckles and clips throughout and retain their original webbing reinforcements to the lower strap sections. The construction and materials are entirely consistent with wartime production and these suspenders would have been intended for wear with US Army trousers during the latter part of the Second World War and into the immediate post-war period.

The suspenders are dated 1945, as illustrated in the final picture. 

The suspenders are in good vintage condition with honest signs of service use. The webbing remains strong with some light wear and minor surface marking consistent with age. The metal fittings show age-related wear but function correctly. There are no serious flaws and the set displays very well overall. Please study the photographs carefully before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small flaws commensurate with age and use.
