WW2 ATS WOMEN'S 'AUXILIARY TERRITORIAL SERVICE' OFFICERS TUNIC & CAP. A tunic and cap to a member of the ATS a womens organisation formed in 1938 to aid the army.
Khaki tunic has an Integral waist belt, brass general service buttons, ATS bronze officer's collar badges and ATS lanyard. Brass pips to each shoulder denoting the rank of lieutenant. Interior tailors label , Moss Bros, Covent Garden and named to Rachel Roundtree !. Measures bust 34 inches and waist 28 inches. In very good overall condition (Two very small moth holes).
Cap size 6 3/4 in very good condition. Interior ribbed silk lining, ATS bronze badge and leather chin strap. War Department stamp O over WD (code for 1942)
