About this item
A very good example of an M36 Artillery Unteroffiziel’s Tunic, constructed in a field-grey wool/rayon blend material
The blouse features a vertical, five button front closure with a single metal hook and eye positioned at the neckline, four, pleated patch, front pockets with scalloped button down flaps. There are four sets of three, vertically aligned, stitched eyelets with one set situated at either side of the front closure panels and the other two to the reverse side panels to support the hooks for the belt. The hooks are not present.
The straight cut sleeve cuffs each have a vertical slash to the outside seam with fit adjustment buttons. There is a blue/green badge cloth, lay down collar with originally applied artillery litzen, the collar trimmed with silver tresse as are the shoulder straps which also carry the artillery red waffenfarbe. On the left breast is a BeVo weave eagle and Swastika which appears originally applied.
Inside, the Tunic is part lined with original stampings evident.
The Tunic is in very good condition and free from moth or other damage.
