About this item
An original pair of British Army 1937 pattern webbing crossing straps dating from the Second World War.
A good matched pair of male and female straps, this pattern of braces were used by the British Army throughout WW2. First introduced in 1938, these straps are a correct matched pair of male and female straps. One is clearly marked 1942 whilst the other has a faint date which appears to be 1942 and is more visible in person. The size is most likely 'Normal' rather than 'Long'.
A good original set of wartime cross straps which are the wartime economy pattern introduced in 1940.
